Using Traditional materials for designing affordable housing to provide green buildings

    Abstract

    There is a growing need and demand for housing that has become difficult for others, and also specifically request for green housing. And green housing means a healthy housing in all ways, and use less energy and resources, and its impact on maintaining environmentally. The term green building is to be used to describe the process of design and development of construction buildings and infrastructure, using methods and materials development, and also provide living environments healthy for human, and to reduce and minimize the use of energy and natural resources, and to minimize the negative effects and side effects on ecosystems, the global, regional and local levels. And also to the sustainability is generally considered to have three main components: the economy, social justice, and the environment. And affordable housing that can address the many economic and social aspects of sustainability and the true objective of green affordable housing and low cost is the integration of all three components. The main objectives of the development of affordable housing and that are reasonably accessible to all, to provide safe and decent housing, is to contribute to the development of strong communities and the economically active and with the support of green building. And simply adds another green building which view and achieve these goals and building affordable housing has many environmental benefits and social and economic development. These include direct financial benefits for housing; there are also indirect benefits in the community, regional and global levels. Some of the positive effects of the concrete and measurable and development and others, such as improved health and comfort, and feelings of pride and also there could be some difficulty in measurement.
