The midpoint Zoro symmetric single-step procedure for polynomial zeros

Abstract

The point symmetric single-step procedure PZSS1 has R-order of convergence at least 4. This method is modified so that a better rate of convergence is achieved. The modified method is called the midpoint zoro symmetric single-step procedure PMZSS1 which has a faster convergence rate at least 8. In this paper, the convergence analysis of PMZSS1 is shown.
