Abstract

This exploratory study examines physics teachers' views of the effect of cartoons on learning and teaching physics. A 25 item survey questionnaire was distributed to 50 physics teachers. The questionnaire comprised of two main constructs: a) Positive Effects of Cartoon on Learning and b) Positive Effects of Cartoon on Teaching. Findings showed that more than 70 per cent of the respondents have positive views on the impact of cartoons on teaching and learning. Teachers view that teaching and learning using cartoons can create positive learning environment for the students and able to stimulate students' imagination and creativity.
