Superconducting properties of YBa2CanCu3+nOδ ceramics

Abstract

A systematic investigation on the influence of Ca and Cu addition and heat treatment in YBa2CanCu3+nOδ was presented. Sample of the nominal composition of the compound were prepared by throughly mixing analytical grade powders of Y2O3, BaCO3, CaO, and CuO. The electrical resistance measurements as a function of temperature were made using a standard four point probe technique.
