Structural modification of CdS, CdTe, and CdSe films deposited from vapor phase

Abstract

The investigation results on polycrystalline CdS, CdTe, and CdSe films at different growth rates in their vapor-phase chemical deposition in hydrogen flow are discussed. The presence of a critical flow of condensed molecules was established. At values above critical flow, the films are amorphous and below this value they are polycrystalline.
