Review on statistical based methods of measuring the water pipes reliability

    Abstract

    This article attempts to provide a general review on the most widely used prediction modeling of pipes breakage and reliability. The intention of this review is to lay the historical improvement stages of this topic, to identify the previous challenges faced the researchers, to identify the malfunctions of the methods and techniques, and clarifying the limits of each technique. In addition, how the researchers could overcome the malfunctions and what are the deficiencies identified so that solutions can be suggested.
