Review of a dual band textile antenna

Abstract

This paper shows design and comparative performance analysis for a dual band textile antenna. The resonant frequencies used were 2.4 GHz and 5.6 GHz. The performance analysis for the antennas was conducted using CST suite and HFSS simulation software. The Substrate used for the antennas design was FELT (ϵr = 1.44). The parameters used for the comparison were the S-parameters and far-field gain in addition to the Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) and radiation pattern. The results obtained for the two simulation software shows resemblance and agreement on the measured values and performance analysis.
