Quantum states generation in multichannel directional coupler with second-order nonlinearity

Abstract

In this paper, the possibilities of generating squeezed states of light via multimode interaction in a multi-channel nonlinear directional coupler, that operates with the second-order nonlinearity, was discussed. Employing the quasiprobability positive P of phase space representation, a complete numerical solution to the time evolution equation for the Hamiltonian was obtained. Finally, demonstrations were made of the enhancement of squeezed states achieved via mixed-mode correlation.
