### Abstract

In this research work, some cases on the periodicity of the difference equation yn+1=poyn+p1yn-f+p2yn-m+p3yn-k+p4yn-sqoyn+q1yn-f+q2yn-m+q3yn-k+q4yn-s,n= 0,1,2,., are investigated, where the coefficients p_{i}, q_{i} (0,∞), i = 0,..,4 and f, m, k and s are positive integers. The initial conditions y_{-s}, .., y_{-k}, , y_{-m}, .., y_{-f}, .., y_{-1}, y_{0} are arbitrary positive real numbers such that f < m < k < s. Some numerical examples will be given to illustrate our result.
