Pengkomunikasian pengurusan maklumat dengan budaya kerja di stesen radio Malaysia Kedah FM

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship of communicating of information management with work culture at Malaysia Kedah FM radio station. There are three items in the aspect of information management such as environmental information, equivocality information and interpretation information. As for the aspects of work culture is also being studied three items, which including habits, behaviour and thought. This study was carried out on the staffs who work at Malaysia Kedah FM radio station, which involving 61 respondents. Quantitative methods have been selected and the questionnaire has been conducted containing 3 sections that are Section A, consisting of the respondents’ profile; Section B focussed on the main aspects of Information Management (Environmental information, Equivocality information and Interpretation information) and Section C on aspect of Work Culture. This study has analyzed only 52 questionnaires using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23. Researcher used two methods to analyze the findings which involved descriptives statistical method and statistical inference method. Descriptives statistical method was used to describe and explain the frequency and percentage for each of the variables involved. While statistical inference method used to examine the relationship between the variables of information management and work culture through Correlation Pearson analysis. The results have shown that there is a weak correlation between information management and work culture.
