Abstract

Parotid pleomorphic adenoma in children is rare and poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma to the treating surgeon. While facial nerve palsy usually indicates malignancy, it presence does not rule out the possibility of benign condition such as pleomorphic adenoma. In this report we present the youngest reported case of pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland, which presented with facial nerve palsy, the management we undertake as well as general approach of parotid pleomorphic adenoma in pediatrics population, from review of the available literatures.
