    Abstract

    This paper presents a new algorithm for enhanced double weight code (EDW-OCDMA). The original code uses a manual code generating method. Therefore it is very difficult to inspect the code for high weights, thus only small weights can be generated. The new algorithm provide mathematical formulas and step sequences to generate the code. This will lead to easily generate the code and in systematic manner. Especially for high code weights. The new method uses shifting. OCDMA simulation experiment is also presented in this paper to investigate the performance at higher code weights.
