Multi-metallic nanostructures of chitosan-graphene oxide surface plasmon resonance sensor for lead (II) ion detection

Abstract

We report an enhancement of chitosan-graphene oxide (CS-GO) surface plasmon resonance sensor using a bi-layered Ag/Au and tri-layered Au/Ag/Au metallic nanostructures for lead (II) ion detection solution. The impacts of both metallic nanostructures on the performance of CS-GO SPR sensor were demonstrated and analysed.
