Isotropic hyperfine coupling constant in manganese-doped Cd1-xZnxSe

    Abstract

    An EPR study was performed on the alloy system Cd1-xZnxSe:Mn2+ using an X-band spectrometer. The isotropic hyperfine coupling constant of the material was measured both at room temperature and 77 K. The results obtained were correlated with the ionicity of the constituent semiconductors. Results of the present work were also compared to those of analogous systems.
