    Abstract

    "Happiness and Pleasure" are among the prominent topics of the philosophers including Ibn Sina. The 'arif according to him is a man who manages to obtain truth from the secred world and enjoy true happiness i.e. the highest pleasure. He can also perform miracles. Ibn Sina himself mentions his own experience to convince his colleagues about intellectual pleasure. This article aims at discussing Ibn Sina's theory of happiness and pleasure based on his writing in al-Ishārat Wa al-Tanbihat.
