Graphene as Sensitizer

Abstract

Graphene technology is likely to have a big impact on future energy production and storage. It is required to improve the device technology to achieve future green energy resources. Graphene has proved its ability to improve many energy and storage devices through its unique and ideal characteristics. As a desirable material, graphene can be operated in wet and dry conditions, which makes it suitable for application in many electrochemical devices. However, to date graphene is still not fully utilized and applied optimally in such devices. In this mini-review, we try to update the literature on graphene used as a sensitizer in some of the devices such as solar cells, supercapacitors, Li-ion batteries, fuel cells, sensors, and transparent conducting films.
