Abstract

The International Seminar on 'Geography and the Third World' was held in Kuala Lumpur in May 1980, and was organised by the Department of Geography, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Attended by participants from a large number of countries, papers covered four main aspects, namely theoretical considerations on Third World geography, development planning, population movement, and resource management and conservation. Each paper is abstracted separately.-J.Sheail
