Abstract

Factors that affect gifted 17 years old students' attitude against mathematics at school were determined and analyzed. 30 students were selected based on their latest examination grades. Questionnaires of 18 questions were given with 13 being multiple-choice questions and five free response questions. It is found that teachers' attitudes and personalities, and materials used during teaching affect students negatively against their studies in mathematics.
