Experiment based power quality learning issues: A voltage sag and harmonic case studies

Abstract

This paper focused on the experiment based power quality (PQ) learning issues. Fluke 434 meter has been used in the experimental setup for analyzing PQ events. The experiment was conducted for both wye and delta connection to analyze the voltage sag/swell and harmonics events. It was found that the PQ problems create not much effect of voltage sag and harmonic distortion. However, a significant analysis and understanding have been explained in the results. Thus, it fulfills the aim of the experiment to learn about the PQ issues in the system.
