Environmental quarry system based on integrated digital objects

Abstract

The development of environmental system with systematic modelling and architecture is a valuable and attentive solution to assure the management of dynamic environmental data object to be more reachable and expandable to various domains at large. The research is conducted in five phases: (1) conceptual framework design; (2) data representation and formulation, (3) architecture design; (4) design and development of environmental quarry system, and (5) confirmation and testing of proposed model and support system. We attempt to establish on how environmental quarry components which are particles, vibration and noise (PVN) and the relationship and connectivity can be modelled and linked into another forms of environmental digital objects (EDOs). The integrated objects are embedded into the environmental repository system for easy manipulation of EDO’s information and knowledge. This research aims to provide an exclusive quarry management and monitoring system (EQMMS) that utilized a new integrated environmental object model (iEDO). This model allows sharing and manipulating information with a knowledge discovery through related objects in the environment to produce new integrated EDOs. During site visit and observation, experts discover that environment data is much localized format and requirements. Thus requires local investigation and system design and architecture for quarry industry in Malaysia.
