Abstract

Islamic psychology implementation in higher education syllabus is not up to the level of satisfaction. Most psychology, learning only refers to the theory and west psychologist's syllabus. Today, the Islamization of psychology, learning awareness, received much attention among psychologists who are Muslims. Therefore, this article analyses the discussion related to the psychological element of Islam that can be applied in teaching psychology. Qualitative research methods were used to analyse the document to previous studies. The study found that physiological Islam began to be discussed and considered by the researchers present since 1970. The study also found that, according to Islam psychological elements to be included in the syllabus of modern psychological aspects that includes the concept, the introduction of the figure, the field of study and method of Islamic psychology.This discussion provides an overview of how Islamic psychology is capable to be an alternative psychology is consist of moral values and education that is appropriate with human nature.
