EDF goodness of fit tests of logistic distribution under selective order statistics

Abstract

In this paper a comparative study is made for the efficiency of an empirical distribution function goodness of fit tests. The tests are used for the logistic distribution. A new method is introduced to improve the efficiency of these tests under ranked set sampling. Simulation is used to show that the tests are more efficient than their counterparts in simple random sampling. The percentage points are obtained under the null hypotheses.
