Development of personality module for youths in National Youth Skills Institutes (NYSI)

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

Muslim personality plays a predominant role in grooming Muslim undergraduates to become competent, innovative and competitive. This necessitates a well-planned program which is supported with an effective module which comprises learning activities that cater to the specific needs of the learners. The objective of this paper is to develop a module that can cultivate integrity, dynamic personality and high moral values. The module is designed based on ADDIE instructional model which consists of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. To date, the module has obtained its copyright and is currently in use at 20 NYSIs nationwide reaching to approximately 2000 youth. It has also received positive feedback from instructors and participants. The implementation of the Muslim Personality Module
