Abstract

This paper highlights the differences between MlPv6 and CIPv6. An overview some basic features and implenientation of Cellular IPvG (CIPvG), a mobility protocol optimised for wireless access network and highly mobile hosts is discussed. CIPVG is designed based on thrce goals: simplicity, scalability aiid performance scalability. A CIPv6 testbed has been setup and some performance parameters such handoff - performance, handoff delay and packet loss will be evaluated.
