Abstract

This paper presents a single band microstrip patch antenna with two slots in radiation terminal to enhance the antenna performance. The proposed antenna operates at 2.4GHz resonant frequency for WLAN applications. This antenna contains FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant ε<inf>r=4.3</inf> and thickness H = 1.6mm and 50Ω input impedance. The analysis of antenna is considered by transmission line model (TLM)and simulated is byMatlab and CST microwave studio software. The antenna performance are obtained in results such as return loss equal -26 dB, realized gain equal 5.9dB, bandwidth equal 50 MHzat 2.4GHz and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) equal 1.1.
