Abstract

Photovoltaic cells with about 3% efficiency are described. Their base layer (CdS) was obtained by gas transport method. Results of test lasting 4000 hr are presented. The volt-ampere, volt-capacitance, spectral and load characteristics prior to and after testing of cells made without and by means of heat treatment are discussed.
