Abstract

Learning space is important in education center, but managing space in higher education might be critical in compare to school. The element of sharing space and from morning to evening can be challenging. Managing space is not only providing the right number of student in the right space but also need to consider the optimization of space usage in-between campuses. To optimize the space usage, institution need to consider the amount of cost incurred from the utilization of space. How do we measure the success rate in costing? Does it only consider the operational cost? Do we need to consider the development cost? This paper discussed the possible factors considered in developing the cost modelling.
