Abstract

Design of the roundabout and intersection is one of the most important factors which is interfering the travel time. Roundabout and intersection are two major causes that have a significant effect on travel time. The aim of this paper is to compare the design of roundabout and intersection to find out the least level of service between them that is able to provide useful information for engineers to design the roads with the shortest travel time. The data required for the study were mainly collected through video filming technique also The calculation and evaluation are constructed with the aaSIDRA which is used to design and analyze the roundabout and intersection.
