Catalogue of pimplinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) from Peninsular Malaysia

Abstract

A catalogue of Pimplinae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) from Peninsular Malaysia which listing 43 species, under three tribes and 14 genera is presented. The genus of Xanthopimpla (Tribe: Pimplini), Theronia (Tribe: Theroniini) has the greatest number of species (21). A total of 14 species were described from Peninsulai Malaysia with type specimens deposited in the U.S. National Museum of Natural History - Washington (4), British Natural History Museum - London (3), V. K. Gupta Collection (3), Berlin Museum - Germany (2), and one each in Munich - Germany and Gainesville - U.S.A.
