Abstract

This case report deals with a case of amputation of all toes after a series of failed forefoot reconstruction procedures over a period of 11 years. In 1960, the 'Pobble' procedure was discussed for a variety of forefoot conditions and more recently (1996) this was found to be useful in rheumatoid arthritis patients. We describe a patient who is satisfied following a similar procedure in a non-rheumatoid condition 7 years after amputation of all 10 toes.
