Abstract

Over the years, many countries are optimizing the technology as an opportunity to enhance the quality of public service delivery. The electronic service or better known as e-government has a significant impact on the growth of performance of public sector. This paper investigates the website design of Malaysia e-government and compares it with the website design of United Kingdom e-government. A content analysis of the websites highlights considerable differences in representation of the e-government in both Malaysia and United Kingdom. From the content analysis, it also gave us more critical remarks related to Malaysia e-government website design and thus enable this study to provide more suggestions in improving the website design.
