### Abstract

Perturbation of classical gravitational backgrounds involving black holes usually lead to quasi- normal modes which are eigen-modes of dissipative systems. The quasinormal mode frequencies are depend on black hole parameters. They are so important in gravitational wave astrophysics. For solving and classification of the quasinormal expectra. Need to solve non- Hermitian eigenvalue problems for the associated differential equations. By using WKB approximation the quasi-normal frequencies of the scalar field in the background of Lovelock black hole will investigate. two type of QNMs that will find describe the effect of perturbation on balck holes in higher dimension.
