Abstract

In the title compound, C13H14N2O 3S·H2O, the benzoyl group lies out of the plane of the N2CS thiourea unit, having a Ccarbonyl-N-C-S torsion angle of 119.4(4)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-H⋯O, O-H⋯O, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯S intermolecular hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network.
