Abstract

2D modelling technique has been carried out based on satellite gravity and magnetic data along east west traverse line across from Kuala Selangor to Kuantan, Peninsular Malaysia with the main aim is to estimate the crustal and mantle subsurface layers. The main focus of this study is to estimate the basement consisting of Paleozoic-Mesozoic sediments, granitoids layer, Bukit Tinggi fault zone, Raub Bentong Suture zone, Lepar fault zone, Conrad and Mohorovicic discontinuities.
